Can you help me buy a home if it’s For Sale by Owner?

Absolutely, it can be a bit of a misconception that agents can’t work with a buyer on a home that is for sale by owner. I believe that it’s even more important to have an agent in this situation to help navigate some of the unique challenges that it can present.

Can’t I just make an offer without an agent and save myself money?

Of course using an agent is optional but the answer is not as straightforward as it might seem. Plus, you’re likely making one of the largest purchases or investments that you’ll ever make. Having an expert help you avoid mistakes and get you the best deal possible is always worth it.

How do I start the process of buying or selling a home?

How much home can I afford?

That’s a great question, reach out to me and I can connect you with one of the great lenders we have in the area. They can quickly walk you through lending options and see what price point and monthly payment you can afford.

How accurate is a Zestimate?

It depends. In many instances it can be fairly accurate, but in others it can be wildly incorrect. Unique features, location, view and interior condition can be difficult for it to accurately assess. And sometimes the algorithm is just way off. Zillow can be a useful tool, but having an agent give you their expert opinion on value is always preferrable.

Should I wait to buy a home until the prices or rates changes?

It depends on your individual situation. I’d be happy to discuss in more detail and provide recommendations. Remember, markets (prices and rates) are inherently unpredictable, and there’s never any guarantee on how and when things may change.
